Week 11
We hope you have had a good week at home. Please read the message from your teachers before you begin your learning. We love receiving photos of your achievements so please continue to mail them or upload to Purple Mash. Remember your Maths and English should be done every day. You have a lot of ideas for your foundation subjects. Choose what you think you will enjoy most and remember we don't expect everyone to complete everything! But ... we do expect everyone to do their best and do something. It is important that you keep in touch and let us know if you need support. We have had RE learning posted from many of you from the past two weeks but there are still children who have not given us any evidence that they have done the learning. This is the last opportunity to learn about Islam before secondary school - please make sure that you have engaged with this. Below you will see an impressive video posted by Sam - he has based this on the Black Lives Matters learning. Has anyone else produced a learning video they would like to show others?
Below you will also see a film made this week by The UN. It was recorded this week across the world and has had almost 160,000 views so far. The World's Largest Lesson looks at the Global Goals for sustainability and covers many of the issues that we look at in school. The film is aimed at age 10 up. It is interesting to hear what young people have to say not only on the time we have been going through, but also looking to the future. If you have older children at home, they too will engage with this.
We are on week 11 in English and week 9 in White Rose Maths.
